I have begun learning the functions of the group by shadowing a coworker, starting from when an initial request comes in for a software package, then running through the process of writing installation scripts, testing in the lab, end-user testing, and finally installing the software on the necessary machines.
As a collateral duty, I am working on an Access Database for the CIO’s office. This database will keep track of software licensing and vendors.

Synopsis: I am currently working with Dr. Carl Lickteig on a company visualization training tool for the Army. The training tool is an instructorless, multimedia, interactive product for training visualization skills in today's challenging environment. Technical objectives include developing parallel pre- and post forms for the training tool to determine whether change in performance from the pre- to post-test is a function of learning, establishing normative standards of company-and-below visualization performance that distinguish novice, intermediate, and expert levels of visualization skills, and examining the training effectiveness of the training tool. To accomplish these objectives, my other tasks include data collection, data analysis, reporting, and researching test design.
