Synopsis: My primary duties are to work with the Contractor Verification System (CVS) providing research and analysis for customer trouble tickets. I will work closely with the Defense Manpower Data Center Support Center (DSC) CVS Helpdesk Tier 2 Team. This will include helping to incorporate CA Unicenter into CVS Tier 3 processes. I will be required to utilize several DMDC applications (DMDC Tools and SQL Unicenter), as well as have a thorough understanding of the DEERS and CVS databases.

I will apply Standard Query Language (SQL) queries to the CVS database, assist with CVS Customer Support and CVS special projects. I may be asked to assist or provide support for other web services.

Synopsis: I'm currently working with Dr. Gregory Ruark, and investigating the use of emotions as a source of influence to Army leadership. Research has shown emotions influence attitudes and behaviors, including judgements, cognitive processes, and behavioral responses. It is hoped that by investigating the relationship between various emotion behaviors and work attitudes and behaviors one can develop and evaluate tools and techniques that enhance the Army's leaders' ability to influence others in an interpersonal context through management of self and others' emotion.

Synopsis: I work in the CAC Test Lab. I regularly create mock profiles for test cards that are printed and encoded with that data (using RAPIDS). I help to track our flow of CAC’s and CAC requests. We also give technical support to those who have ordered the cards. We help those that are testing this technology to make it better.

Synopsis: I am working with Dr. Psotka examining definitions of intelligence utilizing Consensus Based Assessment (CBA) theory. This body of work attempts to explore definitions of intelligence by identifying interactions between cognitive consistency,
self-awareness, as well as political beliefs and personal values. The purpose of this research is to expand general knowledge tests to recognize a more complete range of cognitive ability.

Synopsis: Among many things we do here, our main focus is to ensure our sponsors, their eligible family members, and other personnel receive the proper benefits and entitlements. These include monitoring quality assurance of the services we perform, medical and dental benefits, as well as commissary, exchange, and/or military morale and recruitment privileges.

We also, as a division, support and assist Verifying Officers (VOs) with the issuance, update, and disposal of credentials, through databases. These ID cards allow access to our government facilities and infrastructures. Therefore, it imperative our division functions as a whole, responsibly, efficiently, and with vigilance. Working as one helps our division function at a high degree, keeps us and our sponsors well informed, and in turn facilitate Uniformed Service Members and their families receive their benefits and entitlements they need and deserve.

Synopsis: As part of the Data, Analysis, and Programs Division, I assist both the Active Duty Military Personnel File Manager and the Reserve Components Common Personnel Data System (RCCPDS) Managers in implementing quality control protocols on submitted service member records before providing comprehensive personnel databases to be used by customers, such as DEERS, Congress, and Veteran’s Affairs. Depending on the Military Service Component, the Active Duty and RCCPDS databases are updated on daily, tri-weekly, or weekly bases prior to a final monthly report. We also provide other statistical reports and analyses based on customer requests, which are mainly geared towards the Department of Defense’s manpower planning, strength accounting, and budgeting.
